Solar Water Purification Plant System

Clean water, off the grid

Solar Water Purification System was specifically developed to meet the potable water requirements of deployed personnel ranging from small platoon-sized groups of approximately 30 personnel through to brigade-level deployments.

Each system is engineered and sized according to the operational requirement, ensuring that water production capacity is matched to the number of personnel being supported. Housed within a transportable containerised configuration, the system provides an independent and rapidly deployable water treatment solution capable of operating in remote and austere environments. Depending on the source water characteristics and operational requirements, the system can be configured to utilise:

  • Reverse Osmosis (RO)
  • Desalination
  • Advanced Filtration Processes
  • Multi-stage Water Purification Technologies

The system can extract and process water from a variety of available sources, including:

  • Boreholes
  • Wells
  • Rivers
  • Lakes and standing water sources
  • Reservoirs
  • Other non-potable water sources

Raw water is processed through a series of treatment stages to produce potable water suitable for human consumption, meeting the requirements for:

  • Drinking water
  • Food preparation and cooking
  • Personal hygiene
  • Shower and ablution facilities
  • General camp utility requirements

Key Features

Parameter Capability
Deployment Type Containerised System

Water Quality Output Potable water suitable for human consumption
Power Option Solar-assisted operation
Mobility Rapid deployment and redeployment
Application Military, humanitarian, mining, disaster relief and remote camps

Operational Flexibility

A key advantage of the system is its scalability. Rather than offering a single fixed-capacity solution, each water purification plant is designed around the specific needs of the deployment. This ensures the appropriate balance between production capacity, power consumption, logistics footprint, and operational requirements.

Whether supporting a small forward operating base, a humanitarian relief camp, a mining exploration team, or a large brigade-level deployment, the Solar Water Purification System provides a reliable and sustainable source of safe drinking water wherever it is required.

Operational Benefits

  • Rapid deployment in remote locations.
  • Reduced dependence on established infrastructure.
  • Ability to utilise multiple raw water sources.
  • Sustainable operation through integrated solar power options.
  • Containerised design for ease of transport and relocation.
  • Modular architecture allowing future expansion as operational requirements increase.
  • Production of safe potable water for both consumption and camp operations.

The Solar Water Purification System delivers a self-contained, scalable, and highly mobile water treatment capability, ensuring that personnel have access to safe, reliable water regardless of location or environmental conditions.
