Project background
During the COVID-19 pandemic in August 2020, we were commissioned to deliver a 200-bed emergency field hospital in Conakry, Guinea.
The hospital needed to be fully operational within six weeks despite global travel restrictions, disrupted supply chains and complex international logistics.
We mobilised a specialised international redeployment team and coordinated the movement of more than 100 tonnes of equipment using air and sea freight channels. Local labour resources were integrated into installation activities to accelerate site delivery and commissioning.
The 200-bed field hospital was completed in just five weeks and five days, providing critical healthcare capacity during the height of the pandemic and demonstrating exceptional emergency response capability.
